ReplyDeleteAnd after a long day, here I am just getting around to this blog entry!
ReplyDeleteWell, I've already told you how much I enjoyed not only today but the weekend as a whole (except for my temporarily-returned alcoholism). I had felt the need for a very great celebration, and I can't say that friends didn't truly rally. But I suppose I am left feeling (as you are asleep) that, finally, it is in the small moments that the truly remarkable and visionary still manifests itself. A lot of fuss could not have improved the past few lovely July days we've had. I myself prefer the small-scale (note the photos I selected and liked enough to post on Facebook). So I am happy and now need to go through my own reflections and ideas.
